There are no limits on the amount of units or specials you can purchase. There are no income restrictions or guidelines and you do not need to be a member of the First Church of the Open Bible to participate. We do accept food stamps in person during our monthly scheduled hours. We take orders on distribution days, and four scheduled days during the month. We also have one Sunday per month set aside for members only. Distribution days are generally the third Saturday of every month from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon at the First Church of the Open Bible Fellowship Hall. Menu items vary each month. You may pick a monthly menu list up at the First Church of the Open Bible Welcome Center along with other detailed information. Choir
Our dynamic and growing choir puts on two major productions per year in addition to singing every Sunday. Under the leadership of Abby Lasecki, they are looking forward to their new choir room. Through voluntary fundraisers, the choir helps purchase musical items for the church.
INSTE
INSTE, the Institute of Theology by Extension, allows Christians to grow in their faith through intense study of the Bible. Level one INSTE includes Discipleship, The Old and New Testament, and Doctrine and takes two years to complete. Upon completing level one, students may continue on to level two which includes Church Leadership, History, and Administration, and many other Biblical and practical courses intended to develop those called to a leadership position in the Church. INSTE is led by facilitators who are trained, also having completed INSTE themselves. Sharon Stevens is our INSTE Coordinator.
