Life Summary: I was born and raised in a suburb of Los Angeles. At the age of 12, I visited an Open Bible church and accepted Jesus as my Savior. One week later I told my parents that I desired to become a youth pastor. After high school and a year of community college, Eugene Bible College accepted me into a four year program. Between my Junior and Senior year I interned here at Cedar Rapids Open Bible, and grew to know many here, as well as meeting my wife to be. After my senior year God opened the door for me to come back and realize my desire to work with youth. After one year here I married Erin McElwee, and she is a great help to me in the youth ministry we now enjoy together.

Future expectations: To lead the young people of Cedar Rapids Open Bible in an ever increasing love for and understanding of Jesus Christ! This means to act on what we know is Gods heart: outreach, worship, discipleship, ministry, and supportive Christian Fellowship.
